For the Amerijet International Airlines’ Master Executive Council (MEC), the focus of 2023 was to secure a new contract. In June, the pilot group voted to ratify the agreement with 80 percent voting in favor of the new collective bargaining agreement. The three-year deal includes total pay raises upwards of 45 percent, as well as improvements to scheduling, work rules, and retirement security.
In 2023, the pilot group also elected Capt. Scott Ridlon as the new MEC vice chair and first officer representative. He joined Capt. Tim Millar, the MEC chair and captain representative, and Capt. Roy Thompson, the MEC secretary-treasurer, who were both elected in 2022.
