Hockley Pilot Honored for Commitment to Advancing Aviation Security
WASHINGTON, D.C.—The Air Line Pilots Association, Int’l (ALPA) today recognized Capt. Matthew Youngs, formerly with Envoy Air, with a Presidential Citation at its 65th Air Safety Forum.
“Capt. Youngs’s dedication to his colleagues and to advancing aviation security within the aviation community is a stellar example of how one individual can impact an entire industry,” said Capt. Joe DePete, ALPA president. “Through his efforts, Capt. Youngs has promoted a safer and more secure environment for pilots. He is a true asset to ALPA and a powerful advocate for aviation security.”
