World Pilots' Day
On April 26, World Pilots’ Day, ALPA joined pilots around the globe to celebrate the most important safety feature on any aircraft: having at least two pilots on the flight deck at all times. In recognition of the day, airline pilots in more than a dozen countries engaged in person and on various social media platforms to create a groundswell of activity to reinforce that “Safety Starts with Two.”
This worldwide grassroots advocacy campaign underscores that the presence of at least two well-rested, experienced, and highly trained pilots on the flight deck at all times is the most important safety feature on any airline flight.
Like these pilots, spread the message throughout the global pilot community and to local regulators and legislators that Safety Starts with Two.
