As the world’s largest pilots’ union, we are reflecting this Labor Day on our current and past efforts to protect the airline pilot profession. The U.S. and Canadian economies depend on airline pilots to deliver passengers and cargo safely and on time. Each day, ALPA’s members do just that. We advance safety, promote the piloting profession, and help our airlines and industry grow.
We also express our appreciation to the hardworking members and leaders of ALPA, all the way back to the 24 Key Men who built our Association more than 87 years ago. Our union continues to make a large impact thanks to our members’ commitment to professionalism and unity.
For decades, ALPA members have banded together to fight threats to airline safety and our careers. This Labor Day, we hope that you can take a moment to lend your voice to our current causes: single-pilot operations, flags of convenience, and maintaining strong pilot training qualifications. With your support, we can #keepflyingsafe and keep our industry strong.
From the Air Line Pilots Association, Int’l, have a happy and safe Labor [Labour] Day!
