A year into the pandemic, the Canadian government has yet to provide substantive support for the airline industry. The jobs of the nation’s aviation workers—some of the hardest hit by the pandemic—and the nation’s economic recovery remain in jeopardy. Despite cautious optimism for the year ahead, Canadian aviation needs help now.
Failing to support Canada’s aviation industry and its workers fails all of Canada. Many communities, especially in the Far North, rely on air transportation as a lifeline, their only connection to critical resources.
Join us on Twitter as we call on the prime minister and his government to finally support the aviation sector and the tens of thousands of Canadians it employs. Tell Canada’s elected officials that the aviation industry is worth supporting and needs assistance before it’s too late.
