Happy Thanksgiving, Canada

From all of us at ALPA International, to all our friends, members, and staff in Canada: Happy Thanksgiving! This weekend, we join our Canadian colleagues and reflect on how and why we are so fortunate to be part of the incredible aviation community.

For over 85 years, the pilots of ALPA have worked together to establish and build this great union. That legacy rings particularly true this month as our union prepares to convene the 46th regular Board of Directors meeting on October 17 in Washington, D.C. For decades, our highest governing body has been setting the vector for ALPA and has remained focused on protecting and enhancing the rights and careers of professional airline pilots.

Today, ALPA pilots throughout North America are engaged and active advocates for aviation safety, security, and the piloting profession. I extend my personal thanks to the Canadian pilots who are flying over the Thanksgiving holiday. Whether spending time with loved ones or flying the line, ALPA wishes everyone a safe and happy holiday weekend.
